About the Artist

Robert is an amputee, born in 1962, living in an adult family care home. He has 3 children, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He enjoys gardening, volunteer work, and creating multi-medium artwork.

Although Robert has been creating art for many years, painting on canvas is fairly new to him. After his hands became crippled by neuropathy, he turned to painting as a way to stop the progression of the disease. He now spends a good part of every day with a brush in his hand and canvas in front of him.
